Tuttle - UPDATE!!


I've posted about Tuttle before, but now I have a rather fabulous update to share. Tuttle is now expanding its line for children and young adults and is currently seeking talented authors and author/illustrators for high-quality Asian-themed (Japan, China, India, etc.) picture books, language-exposure picture books, middle grade and young adult books. Both fiction and non-fiction will be considered. Tuttle is also interested in works with connections to less-commonly-represented Asian countries, like Tibet, Vietnam, Thailand, Korea, Burma, and Cambodia.

This call for submissions is not being widely advertised, and it ends on March 31st.

To submit by mail: Mail your cover letter and/or query together with the first chapter (full manuscript for picture books) . Illustrators, please include copies of sample spreads (more finished than just sketches.) For nonfiction works, include an outline of the work, target market, competing titles and your credentials.
